How lucky you are to have a fig tree. We love figs and now I'm glad to know that a fig tree will survive our harsh weather with cold frosty winters and blazing hot summers!
Hi Janice, I don't have a fig tree. I bought these figs at our local organic farm store. I have tried to grow a fig tree here, twice. Both times it died in the winter.
Hi Bob, I did not know all of that nutrition info. I just know that I like the look, feel and taste of the fresh figs. They are a sensuous taste treat.

Figs are one of the highest plant sources of calcium and fiber, no annoying pits, full of healthy antioxidants, and they taste good too.
