Future Banana Bread

Future Banana Bread or Artistic Still Life Display??

My house will smell lovely with the scent of freshly baked banana bread. My taste buds will thrill at the sweetness and delicate crunch of that first warm bite.

That is if I can make the time to actually get into my kitchen and bake it.

Soon, say I. I will do it "soon".

I think I'd pick "Future Banana Bread" over "Artistic Still Life Display" . . . and I can almost smell that banana bread baking right now. That with a nice cozy cup of coffee would be nice in a few hours!

A very artistic presentation. Enjoy the banana bread and the aroma. I love those holiday scents.

Hi Farmer Jen, it's me again. I love banana bread. There's also one of all time favorite Indonesian dessert, it's banana fritters. Slice banana fried with rice flour batter, egg and sugar added. :-)

By the way, where did you get those bananas in the middle of winter? Hehe.. :-p

I wrote about my home garden here, http://littleveggiegarden.blogspot.com :-)

A well known Greek Christmas song says:
"Snow on the steeple, it's ringing Christmas!
Snow on the steeple, all the village is awake...!"

My best wishes to you Jen
love, peace and health!!!

Hi Janice,
What are you doing up at 2am?? I still haven't turned those bananas into bread yet. They smell very banana-y. I'd better get to it.

Hi Bob,
We will enjoy the bread and aroma when I get around to making it. Soon, I hope. Must finish wrapping your Christmas presents first.

Hi Lyliana,
I've never had banana fritters, at least not that recipe. Sounds good. I think our bananas come from Mexico or South America, but some come from Southern California too. Much warmer there than here in the mountains. I will check out your gardening blog. Thanks for the link.

Hi Roula,
Merry Christmas to you too! Wish I knew how to say it in Greek. Thank you for the song. It warms my heart.

I bet it tasted wonderful, too.
I've never had any luck with making delicious banana bread. Other people like it, but it just seems like something is missing somehow.

Happy New Year!

Hi Lisa,
Happy New Year! I did finally make the banana bread and it turned out good. I'll probably post about it when I do my Christmas review post. I use my ex-mother-in-law's recipe for banana bread. I like it better than most.
