Beautiful photographs Farmer Jen, and fabulous captions.
I went for a quiet walk after work tonight to meditate after a busy day, and noticed my apricot tree is blooming, my tulips are about to burst open, and my rose bushes have new leaf growth. It's like there is an orchestra director out there waving his stick just for us.
It takes ones breath away to see the miracles of nature unfolding right there in front of us, and it happens amazingly every year just like clockwork.
This is absolutely without question the most favorite time of the year for me.
I hope Springtime brings happiness and a new beginning for you.
I *love* hyacinth!! The last picture of yours was so vivid, I could actually smell it! Spring time is truly a time of new beginnings. HW Bob alludes to something at the end of his comment, so I wish this for you, too. :-)
Thank you both for your comments and support. I never thought my photos were that great, but your encouragement is heartwarming.
I am actually mostly happy with my life, I just seem to be struggling more with everything lately. Each day brings opportunity for a new beginning. I need to remember that.
The orchestra leader is Mother Nature. Best music ever.
Oh wow! What a beautiful and amazing series of photographs!
I planted my first bulbs ever in the fall and they are just starting to poke their way out of the ground. Some of them are grape hyacinth, too. Now you've got me so excited!
