No Gardening Today

Front Steps

Well, with a foot of snow on the ground, I won't be gardening outside today....

Raised Bed Garden covered in snow!

I also won't be driving anywhere or watching TV either...

Satellite TV Dish and all vehicles piled high with snow

I guess I'll just have to build a warm fire, relax and curl up with my sweet kitten Sarah until the sun comes out to melt all of this snowfall.

We finally have Winter here when the calendar says it's almost Spring! Stay warm and dry everyone.

  2. A foot of snow?! Are you KIDDING me? eeeek. (It is very pretty, though...)
Please, let us high-five to the thought of a quickly approaching spring, with brilliant sunshine, warm breezes and a flourishing garden... are you in?

  3. Great photos, and the snow kept coming last night, as did the power outages.

The PG & E crews were very busy yesterday and last night, thankfully I got my power back on after about 6 hours, just in time to watch Harry Potter.

The blizzard of 2012 was really something, dropping close to 2 feet of fluffy snow on our mountain community.

Now to figure out how to get down the driveway through 2 feet of snow and off to work.

  4. Wasn't that storm simply amazing? We left on Monday for the coast for five days and came home to sunshine!
