It was very scary helping you weed the garden area the other day.
ReplyDeleteAfter being trapped in the dirt for a year, those ugly, twisted mutant carrots were very angry, and could have gotten me. I was a lot faster though.
Yes, a catchy sci-fi movie title, but probably won't be getting an Emmy.
Those are the weirdest carrots I've ever seen . . . way-weird! Did they taste okay? Or were they too woody?

ReplyDeleteI actually have not tasted these particular carrots yet. I am sure they are still edible, but probably are a bit tough. I plan to make soup out of them or at least cook them a long time as part of a stew to make them more tender.
